🌱 Absolute beginners
Never spoken a word of French? Perfect. We'll start with pronunciation, the essentials of grammar, and the building blocks of everyday conversation. The pace stays comfortable and the early wins come quickly.
📘 Intermediate learners
You've got the basics but need to consolidate. We'll fill the gaps, expand vocabulary, master the trickier tenses, and start working on fluent, natural-sounding French.
🎯 GCSE-level students
Targeted preparation for the GCSE exam — speaking, listening, reading, writing, exam technique, and grade-boosting strategies for any tier.
🚀 Advanced learners
For students aiming for grades 8 and 9, or going beyond GCSE into A-level. We work on sophisticated vocabulary, complex grammar, idiomatic French, and the finer points that separate good from outstanding.
Adults welcome too
While GCSE preparation is my specialism, I also work with adult learners — whether you're picking French back up, preparing for a move to a French-speaking country, or learning for the joy of it.
How we find your level
Your first 30-minute consultation is free. During this session, we'll have a relaxed chat (in English or French, whichever feels right), look at your current ability, and talk about your goals. From there I build a personalised plan that fits.
